Acerca de | Maison Felix

Maison Felix is a 29 room boutique hideaway in Miami's North Beach, a restored 1948 residence reimagined by designer Felix Cohen where Mediterranean elegance meets Miami's coastal rhythm. It's a slower, more refined Miami: intimate, artful, and rooted in feeling rather than flash.

We're not South Beach, and that's the point. While the big brands chase spectacle, we offer discretion: a lush courtyard oasis hidden behind native plants, custom made furnishings in every room, and the kind of quiet luxury you feel rather than see. Every detail carries the personal signature of Felix Cohen, who spent decades shaping Miami's fashion and design scene before pouring it all into this one property. Honest edge: we're small, we don't have a full service restaurant (poolside dining by day instead), and we're in NOBE rather than the postcard neighborhoods. Guests who get it consider all three of those features, not bugs.

Design lovers who book hotels for the interiors as much as the location. Couples seeking a romantic, adults feel escape steps from the ocean. Seasoned Miami travelers who've done South Beach and now want somewhere quieter and more personal. European visitors who recognize the Riviera sensibility. Bal Harbour and Surfside shoppers who want a stylish base next door.

Understated luxury, coastal calm, European charm. Burnt orange and turquoise, teak yacht decking, brass accents, vintage mirrors, natural stone. Warm light through lush foliage, the hum of the courtyard pool, linen and bouclé textures. Curated without being cold, stylish without trying too hard. Serene, intimate, tactile, sun washed, quietly confident.

Maison Felix is the culmination of Felix Cohen's creative journey. A trailblazer of Miami's fashion scene turned luxury architect and designer, Felix restored a 1948 Miami Beach landmark, preserving its original stucco walls and Spanish barrel roof tiles while layering in a contemporary Mediterranean sensibility: custom embossed walls and floors inspired by teak yacht decks, a palette drawn from rustic Mediterranean landscapes and cerulean water, hand selected antiques alongside bold contemporary works commissioned from local artist Mark Cherry. In his own words, the hotel is not just a space he designed but a reflection of who he is, an invitation into a world shaped by beauty, precision, and emotion. The neighborhood matters just as much. North Beach (NOBE) is one of Miami's last true gems: open air cafés, hidden galleries, eclectic boutiques, a place with soul where new luxury is arriving but authenticity still rules. We sit steps from the ocean, next to the iconic Bal Harbour Shops and charming Surfside. The vision is to let guests live like locals while immersed in beauty, nature, art, and culture. Managed by Namron Hospitality, founded by Yves Naman and known for the award winning La Valise Hotels in Mexico, we bring that same immersive, soulful hospitality to Miami. Guests consistently describe the hotel as a quiet haven in the madness of Miami, and that's exactly the promise.
