Cross to the ocean side of Miami Beach and the Atlantic opens along Miami Beach Oceanside Park: a wide, unhurried stretch the crowds bound for South Beach never reach. Sunbeds and umbrellas wait minutes from the gate, and the walk home passes the open-air cafés and hidden galleries that make this neighborhood one of Miami Beach's last true gems. Bal Harbour Shops and charming Surfside sit just next door for the afternoons that turn to wandering.
